How Uzbekistan managing the coronavirus pandemic?

The strictest quarantine measures in the CIS were introduced in Uzbekistan. In a neighboring country, the first case of coronavirus was recorded on March 15. The next day, the Uzbek government closed the border with all countries in the world and shut down the air and rail ways. In cities, there was a ban on the use of both public and private transport. Violators of the order were punished with fines. In this regime, the first strict quarantine lasted two months. After it Uzbekistan began to come out from the lockdown gradually. Air and rail ways within the country were restored. Hotels, cafes and restaurants have reopened. Family celebrations were allowed to be held at home. But with a limited number of guests - no more than 30 people.
