500 previously unpublished works included in anthology of Kazakh kuis

The anthology of the Kazakh kuis was presented in the U.S. The selection entitled ‘Amanat’ included about 500 previously unpublished folk works. They were released in Kazakh, Russian and English. The authors of the project intend to further promote the legacy of one of the main genres of the Kazakh instrumental music in Asia and Europe.

“The project is financed exclusively by private funds from a public foundation. Its peculiarity is that many difficulties were related to internal problems that exist in the field of art. It’s collection, it’s search, it’s access to archives, it’s digitization, processing and recording,” said Muslim Khassenov, spokesperson, ‘Sauap’ Public Foundation.
