Sultan Orazalin turns 80

A statesman, a public figure, a TV playwright Sultan Orazalin turns 80. At various times, he worked as a senior and chief editor on Kazakhstan’s TV channels and radio. Moreover, he wrote hundreds of literary scripts and television plays that have been broadcast on TV. Sultan Orazalin also made an invaluable contribution to the development of Kazakh culture, especially to the formation of a model of a unified state language policy. In honor of the anniversary, the Eurasian National University held a republican scientific and practical online conference “Sultan Orazalin and the aesthetics of Kazakh television”.

“Sultan Orazalin interviewed the most prominent figures of the 20th century, including famous artists, masters of theater and cinema. He not only led aitys’, but also took part in their organization. He made a contribution to the development of this art,” said Serik Negimov, PhD in Philology
