Special QR codes for visitors of food service facilities may be launched in Kazakhstan

Kazakh IT experts are developing a program to check the health status of restaurant visitors using a QR code. The members of the country’s Foodservice Association and business community are already placing great hopes on this system. They believe the application will allow extending the working hours of bars and restaurants until midnight, despite the restrictions. According to the developers, each visitor of a public food service facility will be given a personal QR code. With this code, the program will check the visitor’s health status and give a decision. The green color enables the guest to enter the facility, while the red color means that the person is not allowed to enter.
