Kazakhstan sends humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Kazakhstan sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The cargo plane departed from Almaty airport and will land in the Polish city of Katowice. The total weight of the humanitarian aid is 28 tonnes. It included 17 types of medicines such as antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, antitussive and antihypertensive drugs. In early March, the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Ukraine agreed on cooperation between the two countries in the humanitarian sphere. Thus, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan worked out the plan of delivering humanitarian cargo along the Almaty-Katowice route by aircraft. The next flight will depart tomorrow, March 15.

“On behalf of the President of Kazakhstan, medicines are sent on two flights, on March 14 and 15. Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development, humanitarian aid is sent to Poland along the Almaty-Katowice route,” said Sholpan Adilbekova, a representative of SK-Pharmacy.
