Citizens of 30 countries can enter Kazakhstan without PCR test

In addition to Kazakh citizens who have completed a full course of immunization against coronavirus, some foreigners will not need to take a mandatory PCR test to enter our country. The new rule applies to residents of 30 countries with which there is mutual recognition of vaccination passports. In addition, there is no “yellow” status in the Ashyq application, and people with “green” and “blue” status are allowed to visit all objects. Also, in the absence of symptoms of the disease, isolation for home quarantine for contact persons is canceled. Restrictions for the work of organizations and offices in offline mode have been removed. The Minister of Health said that due to the stabilization of the epidemiological situation in Kazakhstan, quarantine measures have been relaxed. Over the past month, the average daily incidence of coronavirus has decreased by 34 times.

“In order to increase the coverage of vaccination and revaccination of vulnerable groups of the population in Kazakhstan, disabled people of all groups are allowed to use all types of vaccines, including the Pfizer vaccine. Also, the use of the Pfizer vaccine is allowed for revaccination of persons over 50 years of age and for the completion of the primary vaccination course for persons who received the first component outside of Kazakhstan,” said Azhar Giniyat, Kazakh Health Minister.
