Emir Kusturica to make film about Golden Horde

A film about the Golden Horde will be directed by filmmaker Emir Kusturica. Shooting is planned to take place in Kazakhstan in 2022. This was announced during the online conference of the third Festival of Kazakh Films. According to Yessetzhan Kossubayev, Chairman of the Board of State Center for Support of National Cinema, these will be quite limited in budget and rich in content historical films oriented to the international market.
