Construction companies to be obliged to use Kazakh-made building materials

Contractors will be obliged to use Kazakh-made materials during construction to increase the share of content made in Kazakhstan in this field, the press service of Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development reported. There were amendments made to the legislation. Now customers must publish on the epsd.kz website the summary bill of a project immediately after the examination. This applies only to those companies that are erecting buildings at the expense of budgetary and quasi-public funds. About 100 residential and social facilities are being constructed under the state order. Another obligatory innovation is the use of a certificate during construction, as well as an indication of the country where the building materials were made in estimates and acts of work performed.
