Nur-Sultan to host over 800 events dedicated to 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence

Many different events are being held in Kazakhstan to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the country's independence. More than 800 events will take place this year in Nur-Sultan alone. Over 200 of them are of national and international importance. The program includes a wide variety of events, including creative evenings and sports tournaments. In the Kazakh capital, new public facilities, entertainment spaces and business projects will also be opened in honor of the holiday. All this will certainly contribute to the development of the country, the organizers noted. They also added that all the necessary sanitary requirements will be strictly observed.

“These celebrations will run until the end of the year. We plan that the largest and most important events will take place on Independence Day in December. We also plan to implement other projects. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the country's independence, we receive proposals from citizens who want to actively participate in organizing the events. We try to consider all applications and ideas. And if the proposed events meet our current criteria and will be held in compliance with sanitary rules, then these ideas will also be implemented,” said Dauren Babamuratov, Head of the Internal Policy Department of Nur-Sultan.
