7th Congress of World Religions’ Leaders to be held in Nur-Sultan in September

The 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions will be held in the capital of Kazakhstan this autumn. At this forum, delegates from 60 countries will discuss issues of the socio-spiritual development of mankind in the post-pandemic period. This was reported by the Chairman of the Board of the Center for the Development of Interfaith and Inter-civilizational Dialogue, Bulat Sarsenbayev. In addition, the sections will discuss the role of religion, educational processes, the status of women, as well as the fight against extremism. The meeting of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions taking place in our country demonstrates the recognition of Kazakhstan on the world stage.

“We are currently preparing, inviting people. We are preparing the agenda of this congress. This is a lot of painstaking work by experts who should make this congress meaningful, so that it really gives some results that we would feel and that we could evaluate,” Sarsenbayev said.
