Kazakhstan records 729 new COVID-19 cases

944 more people reported to have recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, their number in Kazakhstan increased to 122,291. According to the official data from Kazakh Health Ministry, 729 more COVID-19 cases were registered in the country in the last 24 hours.

To date, there are 138,382 COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan, including in:

Nur-Sultan - 16,641 (+106)

the city of Almaty - 16,667 (+68)

Shymkent - 5,406 (+4)

Akmola region - 5,862 (+60)

Aktobe region - 3,539 (+8)

Almaty region - 5,979 (+22)

Atyrau region - 11,905 (+34)

East Kazakhstan region - 17,329 (+95)

Zhambyl region - 4,572 (+22)

West Kazakhstan region - 8,378 (+34)

Karagandy region - 11,328 (+30)

Kostanai region - 6,029 (+74)

Kyzylorda region - 3,302 (+1)

In addition, 215 more pneumonia cases with COVID-19 symptoms were recorded in Kazakhstan in the last 24 hours. 109 patients were reported to have recovered. A total of 43,339 such cases, 456 fatalities and 31,141 recoveries have been reported in the country since August 1.
