Kazakhstan records sharp increase in coronavirus cases

Coronavirus cases in Kazakhstan are growing. 110 people were infected in the past 24 hours, which is almost twice as much as the day before. As usual, the biggest amount was registered in two major cities. 56 cases were recorded in Almaty, 29 – in Nur-Sultan. According to the Interdepartmental Commission on the Prevention of COVID-19 Spread, more than half a thousand Kazakh residents continue to receive treatment for coronavirus to date, about 100 out of which are currently in hospitals. Four of them are in a critical condition. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of coronavirus cases registered in Kazakhstan has exceeded 1,306,000.
