Kazakhstan registers no cases of monkeypox infection, Health Ministry says

Not a single case of monkeypox has been registered in Kazakhstan. This was reported by Kazakh Ministry of Health. The ministry stated that sanitary and quarantine controls are in place at the border, with remote thermometry being used to identify patients with suspected highly severe diseases. According to the National Chief Health Inspector, travelers should avoid West African countries where monkeypox outbreaks have been reported. When going on a journey, stay away from wild animals. Additionally, abstain from eating in places where spontaneous and street trading occurs, and remember to take personal precautions when approaching crowded areas. In addition, upon returning from a vacation within three weeks, Kazakh citizens are advised to call the nearest medical organization promptly if they experience malaise, fever, or a rash, and to inform them of their journey abroad.
