Epidemiological situation improves in Nur-Sultan, Almaty eases quarantine

Infectious diseases hospitals in the Kazakh capital are being gradually closed due to a decrease in coronavirus incidence rate. The number of people infected with COVID-19 in the capital decreased by 21 percent. This was announced at a briefing at the city health department. For example, over the past two days, three COVID hospitals with 370 beds have been closed. They were deployed back in May through July, when the epidemic broke out. Also, next week, depending on the epidemiological situation, infectious wards will be closed in two more hospitals. In general, the incidence of the virus in the city has decreased three times over the last month. In the meantime, quarantine will be eased in Almaty. This is stated in the new decree of the chief sanitary doctor. According to the document, objects using the Ashyq application starting from September 6 will be allowed to work until midnight on weekdays, and for the Ashyq leaders - until 02.00. On weekends, only citizens with a "green" status will be able to visit the facilities.
