Exhibition of U.S. artist Sri Chinmoy opens in Nur-Sultan

Harmony of colors - an exhibition of the artist from the United States Sri Chinmoy opened at the National Museum of Kazakhstan. The exhibition showcases paintings made in the artist’s signature style ‘Jharna Kala’. Each of his works is distinguished by a presence of many colors, the lightness of strokes and sophistication of forms. Sri Chinmoy’s technique, where he uses special sponges and brushes, allows visitors to relieve stress, to concentrate or shift their attention. Nowadays, unique works of the artist are kept in many famous museums around the world. The exhibition will be open until February 10.

“This exhibition is special because of the technique that is suitable not only for children, but also for adults. Such a therapy is able to influence the sensitiveness, concentration of thoughts and feelings of people. These paintings are unique with a brilliance, this is a real harmony of colors, paints, all this attracts visitors to the exhibition. We hope that our picturesque unique exposition will attract more and more visitors,” said Nazgul Kadrimbetova, Deputy Director of the National Museum of Kazakhstan.
