Central Asian countries build up cooperation in civil service

Kazakhstan’s experience in implementing best practices in the civil service was recognized as the best in Central Asia, representatives of the Venice Commission announced. A large-scale conference on the modernization of public services took place in Tashkent. It was attended by the Kazakh delegation. The meeting touched upon the work carried out in Central Asia in the field of democracy and law. Digital solutions were successfully implemented in Kazakhstan as part of the optimization of public services. As such, 90 percent of them were transformed to an online format.

“We visited several government agencies that have service centers. In general, there are differences from the public service system in Kazakhstan. We will therefore exchange views with experts and share experience,” said Berik Berkimbayev, Deputy Chairperson of the Civil Service Affairs Agency of Kazakhstan.
