EAEU countries to create joint tourist routes

Countries of the Eurasian Economic Union plan to develop joint tourist routes. A single information source will be also worked out on facilities and destinations that can be visited. The EAEU countries plan to focus primarily on the development of educational tourism, which will take into account the wishes of avid travelers.

“Tourist trips, travels, hikes are held in order to get to know natural monuments, history and culture, lifestyle and traditions of our population. There is a lot to see. The work of some unique museums represents the example of the successful development of tourism industry in our Union. For example, there is Malye Korely museum of the traditional wooden architecture of Arkhangelsk area. Experts highly recommend a petroglyph site Saimaluu Tash in Kyrgyzstan. Kazakhstan and Belarus also have such beautiful monuments, including open-air sites,” said Sergei Tkachuk, Expert, Eurasian Economic Commission.
