President of Kazakhstan receives CEO of Chevron Corporation

The President of Kazakhstan and the CEO of Chevron Corporation held discussions in the Akorda Residence about execution of several investment projects in the petrochemical industry. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Michael Wirth talked about main aspects of further collaboration, as well as plans to expand the production capacity of the Karachaganak oilfield. The Head of State commended Tengizchevroil’s decision to divert an additional 2.6 billion cubic meter of gas to the domestic market.
