Production in mechanical engineering in Kazakhstan grows by 37 percent

Production in mechanical engineering in Kazakhstan grew by 37 percent in six months, while the volume of investments in the industry increased by 23 percent. This was reported at a meeting on the development of mechanical engineering. Kazakh Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov noted that the coverage of domestic production with support measures will be expanded. Particular attention should be paid to the increase of local content in procurement. Smailov gave a number of instructions in these areas to the relevant government agencies.
