Kazakhstan imposes quota on sunflower oil exports

Kazakhstan will impose new restrictions on the export of sunflower oil until the end of summer. According to the State Revenue Committee, the order of the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture came into effect from June 18. The export will be carried out only under a quota system. Applications are now being accepted in the country. Thus, it is allowed to export 68,000 tonnes of sunflower oil from Kazakhstan. The monthly limit should not exceed 6,000 tonnes per exporter in total.
