Over 2,000 applications submitted for preferential car loans during first day

On the first day of the program of preferential car loans, more than 2,000 applications were received. The applications are accepted by the second tier banks, according to the representative of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Olzhas Saparbekov. He stated that there will be enough cars for everyone and added that the manufacturers, which today produce an average of 7,000 cars a month, plan to increase this figure to 9,000 starting next season. Thus, according to the plan, 109,000 domestic cars will be assembled by the end of the year.

“Manufacturers have provided about 6,000 cars to car dealerships, part of funding have been directed on people’s accounts and to issue a loan. On average, just over 2,200 applications were accepted by the two banks and are currently being processed. For the rest of the banks, according to the colleagues, corporate procedures are being completed. As soon as these procedures are completed, the program will begin,” said Olzhas Saparbekov, a spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan.
