Kazakhstan to open enterprise for production of spare car parts

Kazakhstan may build a new plant for the production of automobile rims. Representatives of Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development and Uzbek businesspeople discussed the new project at the first Tashkent International Investment Forum. Kazakhstan is already implementing joint projects in the field of mechanical engineering with the neighboring country. Now, the new enterprise will specialize in the production of parts for cars. More than 10 agreements aimed at creating joint ventures were signed within the business meetings.

“Our partnership is at a very high level. Approximately 100 domestic entrepreneurs are represented at the forum. We are ready to work together both in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. This meeting will only facilitate our cooperation,” said Kairbek Uskenbayev, Kazakh Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development.
