Transit flights in Kazakhstan’s airspace increase

The number of flights through Kazakhstan increased more than three times. According to the Civil Aviation Committee, their total amount has already exceeded 450. Of these, 257 previously unscheduled flights have been flown through the country’s airspace over the past 24 hours. This is due to the closure of airspace, when part of the transit flights were redirected from the Black Sea region to the territory of Kazakhstan. At the same time, Kazaeronavigatsia says that it is ready to increase the volume of work, and all flights will be served on time. The country’s airspace management system is operating normally and can withstand such loads. An increase in the number of flights from Europe to China and Southeast Asia along the southern route implies an additional income for the country of US$1.5 million per month.
