In March 2019, in Japan, Elizabeth Tursynbayeva became the world vice champion in figure skating. The great success of the Kazakhstan figure skater was accompanied by the news that she was the first to submit the quadruple salchow. According to the national Olympic Committee, she was recognized as the best athlete of the year in winter sports.
