“Mereily Otbasy” competition revives family values

This year, 17 families can become laureates of the national competition ‘Mereili Otbasy’. In past years, only one family dynasty could be the winner. Deputy Chairperson of the National Commission for Women and Family and Demographic Policy Lyazzat Suleimen reported on the new changes in the event. It’s already the seventh time that the ‘Mereili Otbasy’ competition is being held in the country, she said. Over the years, over 15,000 families participated in it. It is aimed at reviving moral values and raising the status of the family. The competition is held among the dynasties with labor, sports, creative, intellectual and scientific achievements.

Document submission will last until June 15. The award ceremony will be held in September on the eve of Family Day.
