Kazakhstan to hold Victory Day celebration online

This year’s celebration of the 76th anniversary of the Great Victory in World War II will be held online due to quarantine restrictions. However, the honoring of the war veterans will take place in all regions of Kazakhstan in compliance with the sanitary rules. For example, on May 8, Nur-Sultan will host a travelling concert for 22 war veterans dedicated to Victory Day. On the same day, as part of the military and patriotic movement ‘Jas Sarbaz’, the war veterans will receive food baskets. On May 9, ‘The Roads of Victory’ travelling event will take place on the streets of the Kazakh capital. There will be no Victory Parade in Kazakhstan this year due to the unstable epidemiological situation.
