New tourist routes to open in Burabai this year

Burabai as a tourist attraction centre - the resort has long become a favorite destination not only for Kazakh citizens, but also for residents of neighboring countries. Several new touristic routes will open there this year. One of them starts from the Abylai Khan Glade and leads to Kokshetau hill. A viewing deck has been built there at an altitude of 135 meters that opens a breathtaking view of the local nature. A Multimedia Interactive Complex is one of Burabai’s new facilities. It has various venues that talk about the rich history of Kazakhstan, including its current realities and achievements. Construction works are still underway on the new holiday pier located between Tekekol and Ulken Shabakty lakes. According to the project, there will be 12 yurts and about 70 chalet-style houses. The main direction is ecotourism. The full implementation of all projects is planned until 2030.

“We hope that this year the pandemic will not affect the resort area. Naturally, we expect a large influx of tourists and visitors to our facilities. We are delighted to welcome every person as our guest. However, we will keep monitoring the situation in our region, as well as in the country,” said Chingiz Orazalin, spokesperson for a tourism development company.
