Best Kazakh universities to be exempt from scheduled inspections

The best Kazakh universities will be exempted from scheduled inspections. These are educational institutions that occupy first to third places in the ranking of employers and enter the top world universities rankings. Kazakh Minister of Education Askhat Aimagambetov wrote about this on his Facebook page. In the publication, he summed up the results of his work as the Minister of Education. According to him, science and higher education system in Kazakhstan have become more efficient and competitive over the past three years. This year, for the first time, 16 domestic universities entered the QS world ranking. Their total number was doubled compared to 2018. At the same time, the positions of universities in the ranking also improved significantly.

“A big step was the ability of universities to issue their own diplomas, which also increases their responsibility for the quality of training. In order to prevent the forging of diplomas, requirements for signatures were introduced. Employers can verify the authenticity of a diploma on the website with the help of QR-technology,” Aimagambetov said.
