‘Kids Go Free’ program: about 200 children receive free flight tickets for vacation

About 200 Kazakh children have already used the Kids Go Free program to travel for free. According to the Kazakh Tourism national company, since the beginning of the year, they received more than a hundred applications. Tour operators were reimbursed more than ten million tenge. At the same time, the total expenses of families for flights and accommodation amounted to approximately 33 million tenge. Turkistan, Almaty and Mangystau continue to be the most popular destinations according to the company. The Kids Go Free program for family tourism was launched in January of this year. The state fully subsidizes the cost of an air ticket for children from two to 17 years old. This applies only to trips on a tour package, which must be purchased from a licensed operator. According to the rules, the child must fly accompanied by an adult relative. The company expects a greater influx of program participants in the summer season.
