Competition of small grants to support volunteer initiatives takes place in Kazakhstan’s capital

A competition of small grants to support volunteer initiatives was announced in Kazakh capital. Representatives of active youth aged 14 to 29 can take part in it, the official website of the city mayor’s office reported. The amount of grants is 350,000 tenge (US$781). Youth projects represented at the competition are designed to solve environmental, economic and social issues of the city. The proposals are also accepted in the fields of innovation, science and sports. The project is implemented for the third year in a row. Its main goal is to support the initiatives of volunteers and social organizations. Applications are accepted until April 22.
