Kazakhstan plans to invite foreign Para sport consultants

Kazakhstan plans to invite foreign Para sport consultants to train its athletes for future Olympics, a representative of Kazakh Ministry of Culture and Sports Samat Yergaliyev announced at a briefing in the Central Communications Service. Specialists have already begun to prepare for the upcoming games. Due attention will be paid to international experience.

“For example, China climbed from the 20th to the first place in the team rating in just four years. When training its athletes, this country invited foreign specialists from Russia and Belarus as consultants to the national teams. We are currently considering the possibility of attracting foreign Para sport consultants as well. In addition, a special program for the upcoming Paris and Milan Paralympic Games will be developed. Also, joint work will be carried out with the National Paralympic Committee,” Yergaliyev said.

Five athletes represented Kazakhstan at the 13th Winter Paralympic Games, which took place in China. Kazakhstan national team won one bronze medal and took 17th place in the team rating among 53 countries.
