Zhandos Mukhamedi makes his debut at symphony orchestra’s concert

The ‘Spring Concert’ performance of a symphony orchestra was held in the East Kazakhstan region. A student of the Vienna Conservatory of Music and a laureate of international and national contests Zhandos Mukhamedi made his debut as a conductor. The festive event was opened with the work of Gioachino Rossini ‘The Barber of Seville’. This year the symphony orchestra celebrates its 20th anniversary. According to the chief conductor, preparations for a large-scale anniversary concert have already begun.

“Such events took place regularly in our region. You know that currently concerts are held live quite rarely. And now, we are starting the concert season. This year, East Kazakhstan regional Symphony Orchestra is celebrating its 20th anniversary. This is a great event for us. We are all getting ready,” said Alexander Galsanov, Chief Conductor of the Symphony Orchestra of East Kazakhstan region.
