WHO calls for urgent need to open humanitarian corridor in Ukraine

Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus appealed for a humanitarian corridor to be opened in Kyiv to provide assistance to those in need. According to the WHO head, this measure is required to ensure humanitarian workers and supplies have safe and continuous access to reach people in need. Earlier, the organization allocated US$3.5 million to help the population of Ukraine.
