Beijing 2022 Torch relay to kick off on February 2

The Winter Olympic torch relay kickoff ceremony will take place in Beijing on February 2. The Flame will visit 12 locations across three competition clusters. It is the capital of China, Yanqing County and Zhangjiakou City in Hebei Province. The symbol of the international games will be carried by 50 torchbearers. The Olympic flame was delivered straight from Athens to China on October 20th. Only local residents and fans from the mainland will be able to watch the spectacular and colorful event live. It was previously reported that this time the games will be held without foreign spectators. They will start on February 4 and will run until February 20.
