Exhibition ‘Theater, Opera, Ballet’ takes place in Pavlodar

The exhibition dedicated to the 110th birth anniversary of Kulyash Baiseitova opened in Pavlodar. It features works by Kazakh theater artists. A total of 22 works from the collections of local museums were presented to the audience. Most of them were made over 70 years ago. The exhibition will run until the end of January.

“This exhibition immerses the audience at a certain time. It’s the middle of the 20th century in Almaty, it’s exactly the time when the theaters opened. All of these artists were very much in demand and, indeed, they gave their best to work in a particular production. I am talking about such wonderful people as Aubakir Ismailov, Evgeny Sidorkin, Gulfairus Ismailova and Vladimir Kolobenko. Their work coincided with the time when Kulyash Baiseitova performed,” said Olga Pashko, an art critic.
