President K.Tokayev holds meeting of operational headquarters

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a session of the emergency response headquarters. The Prosecutor General, the Chair of the National Security Committee and the Acting Ministers of Internal Affairs and Defense reported to the Head of State. The President instructed to place special emphasis on the restoration of administrative and social facilities. Security functions performed by the CSTO peacekeepers in Nur-Sultan made it possible to redeploy part of the Kazakhstan’s law enforcement forces to Almaty to be involved in the counter-terrorism operation. President Tokayev gave specific instructions to ensure the coordinated work of departments to stabilize the situation.
