Scientists discuss article of President Tokayev

Studying the rich legacy of the Alash movement. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev recalled the most important historical periods of the country in his recent article. He instructed to focus on selfless service of the Alash movement activists to their homeland by reflecting their activities in historical, documentary and artistic works. This will eternalize the memory of prominent personalities and reflect the country’s history for future generations. President Tokayev’s article is fully supported by intellectuals of the Kazakh capital. They believe that the legacy of the Alash movement leaders should be studied consistently and carefully, and support of scientists working over this issue is very important.

“Certainly, the President’s article covers almost all the most pressing issues of modern Kazakh society. But what I particularly liked was that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid special attention to a thorough study, research and revival of the legacy of the Alash movement leaders, which should be conveyed to the youth, to future generations. I believe that the article touches upon the most important aspects of the chronicle of our country,” said Zhangali Zhuzbai, Professor at Kazakh National University of Arts and an Honored Figure of Kazakhstan.
