New system for teaching state language to be developed in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan will create a unified system of teaching the state language. The universal program will cover all Kazakh citizens, starting from kindergarten. New generation textbooks will be published and modern methods will be developed on this basis. As a result, the applied digital linguistics of Kazakh language will be improved. Words and terms borrowed in the era of globalization will be updated and the scope of Kazakh language will be expanded. New educational standards will be introduced at the national level. At the same time, the Latin version will also be developed. The new system is expected to be widely implemented by 2023.

“People perceive things differently. For example, 20 years ago, human interaction with the information space was very different than it is today. In this regard, we are considering the application of various innovative approaches, including the placement of projects for the study of the state language on websites, as well as the development of portals and various mobile applications. It’s about the transition to a new format, a more mobile one, where everyone can learn, literally, using a smartphone,” said Yerbol Tleshov, Executive Director of ‘Til-Kazyna’ National Scientific and Practical Center.
