The facilities destroyed during the explosion in the Zhambyl region will be fully restored in the next two months. 12 contractors have already set to work. A special commission has been created to calculate material damage. The seismic control laboratory issued technical reports to the owners of the facilities. There are about 120 of them in total. 106 residential buildings and 12 commercial premises were damaged. A school in the village of Zhibek Zholy was also destroyed. In the future, funds for eliminating the consequences of emergencies will be allocated from the local budget.

“The village of Kainar was closer than other settlements to the explosion site. 19 houses were seriously damaged. Construction work has already begun. On the instruction of the regional governor, conditions were created for those, who were left without homes. They were provided with temporary accommodation and a storage facility for their property. Currently, all contractors are actively carrying out restoration work, and, as it was already mentioned, they will be completed within two months,” said Kairat Ismail, Deputy Governor of Baizak District in Zhambyl Region.
