93,000 Kazakh citizens fill in survey since start of National Census

93,500 Kazakh citizens took part in the nationwide census, which started on September 1. As the first days of the campaign showed, the residents of Pavlodar region are most interested in undergoing the procedure. More than 16,000 respondents answered the questionnaire there. The Kazakh capital is among the leaders as well with over 15,000 residents filling in the information. Among them is the First Deputy Chief of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan, Dauren Abayev. He noted that the results of the census will allow assessing the success of the reforms and the effectiveness of the work of regional and district authorities.

“We are interested not only in how many of us there are, but also what are we like. The questionnaire contains a lot of questions, but not all of this data can be pulled from information databases. And the census is the most accurate sociology that will allow us to understand how the population really feels,” said Abayev.

The survey can be completed until October 30. Data collection is carried out in two ways: on sanaq.gov.kz website and by door-to-door rounds.
