Kazakhstan takes lead in International Army Games

Soldiers from Kazakhstan won their first victories at the International Army Games. At the Tank Biathlon that took place at the Alabino training ground near Moscow, the first crew of the Kazakh team took the lead, leaving behind rivals from Azerbaijan, Belarus and Serbia. The Kazakh tank crew easily overcame the route and hit all targets. In the “Warrior of Peace” competition in Armenia, Kazakh militaries surpassed all the participants in fulfilling the basic standards of combat training.

“The first crew of our team took part in the race. We were very excited before the start. But we got it together and showed good results. I wish good luck to the following crews,” said the tank crew commander Abdulkhakim Duisenov.

The competitions are taking place in 11 states. Members of the Armed Forces from more than 40 countries participate in it. Competitions of gunners and crews of unmanned aerial vehicles will be held in Kazakhstan at the Matybulak training ground in Zhambyl region.
