Foundation for support of women employed in agriculture to be established soon

International Foundation for the Support of Rural Women is planned to be opened in South Africa. It will deal with issues and problems of rural women from Africa, Central Asia and the South Caucasus, reported the head of the G-Global International Secretariat Serik Nugerbekov at a briefing in the Central Communications Service in Nur-Sultan. He said that the foundation will be headed by the eldest granddaughter of the First African President Nelson Mandela, Ndileka Mandela. She arrived in Kazakhstan specifically to discuss this issue. The main goal of the foundation, the speakers noted, is to unite the countries’ efforts to support and provide practical assistance to the rural women in these regions. The head of the organization also spoke about a major international conference in the capital next fall.

“To this event, we would like to invite the heads of international organizations, major foundations, banks, heads of non-governmental organizations who deal with issues of rural women. We would like to share our experience in practical support of rural women with representatives of many states that will take part in this conference,” said Serik Nugerbekov, Head of G-Global International Secretariat.
