Kazakh stunt performers conquer Hollywood

Kazakh international team “Nomad Stunts” took part in the shooting of the Hollywood movie “The Protégé” directed by Martin Campbell, starring Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Keaton. In total, ten Kazakh stunt performers participated in the project. According to the director of the team Zhaidarbek Kunguzhinov, an offer to take part in the shooting was received at the end of 2019. Men and women were cast according to the types and requests of the stunt coordinator and the film director. The stunt performers began filming in February 2020, which took place in Romania. They were involved not only in the action, but also dubbed the characters and played several cameo roles. The filmography of the Nomad Stunts includes such projects as “Mulan”, “The Expendables 2”, “47 Ronin”, “Mongol”, “Viking”, series for streaming services Netflix and HBO. The stunt performers collaborate with leading studios in Hollywood, Bollywood, as well as with Kazakh and Russian film directors.
