Kazakhstan wins another bronze at Tokyo Olympics

Kazakhstan’s national team won another bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics. A Kazakh boxer Kamshybek Kunkabayev in the weight category over 91 kilogram met with an athlete from the U.S., Richard Torrez, in the semifinals. At a crucial moment, Kamshybek was injured, which is why he could not continue with the competition. He was one of the two remaining Kazakh boxers at the Olympics. In addition to Kamshybek Kunkabayev, the treasury of the team was replenished by judoka Yeldos Smetov, weightlifters Igor Son and Zulfiya Chinshanlo.
