Kazakhstan records baby boom

Quarantine baby boom. Kazakhstan registered an increase in the birth rate. The number of newborns exceeded the past year’s figures by more than eight percent, ranking.kz reported. The analysts calculated that over 100,000 children were born in the first quarter of this year. A little over 90,000 have been born over the same period last year. Overall, the baby boom lasts for the third quarter in a row. As a result, more than 425,000 babies were born in the country last year, which is almost six percent more than a year earlier. The number of the population in Kazakhstan has already reached 18.94 million people.
