Kazakh actor becomes laureate of Cannes Film Festival

Kazakh actor Yerkebulan Daiyrov won the “Golden Palm” at the Cannes Film Festival. He was recognized as the “Best Asian Actor”, receiving the prestigious award for the role in the film “Sunflower” directed by Elya Gilman.

The famous Kazakh actor starred in such films as “A Road to Mother”, “Amre”, “Tobol”, “Bauyrzhan Momyshuly” and “Baluan Sholak”.
