Kazakh Prime Minister Askar Mamin outlines new government’s main tasks

Today Kazakh Prime Minister Askar Mamin instructed to keep working to achieve concrete results and announced specific tasks that a new Kazakh government faced. He stressed that all the measures should be primarily aimed at the improvement of the population’s well-being and creation of new jobs. Askar Mamin outlined the increasing competitiveness of the economy, attracting investments and developing new technologies and exports as the specific tasks. Earlier, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev appointed the new composition of the government. Most of ministers remained in their offices, except for two departments. Serik Shapkenov was appointed Kazakh Minister of Labor and Social Protection. Asset Irgaliyev became Kazakh Minister of National Economy.
