Number of commissions in Kazakh government more than halved

The number of commissions under the Government of Kazakhstan was more than halved from 70 to 25. This was reported at a meeting on red tape reduction of the state apparatus. Similar work is carried out in the ministries. A new regulation of the Government, which will halve the processing time of documents and will reorganize the rule-making process, is under development. The new version of the regulation will be approved soon. In addition, during the meeting it became known that an audit of the current instructions of the government is currently being carried out. All irrelevant and duplicate tasks will be excluded. An online platform to collect proposals for the red tape reduction and improving the efficiency of government agencies will be created at the ‘E-otinish’ information system. At the moment, the Cabinet of Ministers is implementing an action plan that consists of more than 30 measures aimed at elimination of the red tape in state bodies.
