Yerlan Koshanov comments on president Tokayev quitting Amanat party

Political competition will intensify. On the sidelines of the Mazhilis, the speaker of the lower house of the Parliament commented on the Head of State quitting the Amanat party.

“I think, of course, it will affect the work of the party. We must compete on equal terms for parliamentary seats with other parties. I think it will only increase political competition. Amanat is the ruling party and I think it is ready for the next political struggle,” said Yerlan Koshanov, Chairman of Amanat Party and Mazhilis Speaker.
