Kazakhstan to take measures to reduce red tape in state bodies

Kazakhstan will take measures to eliminate bureaucracy in state bodies. The corresponding decree was published on the Akorda website. The document determines the basic principles of red tape reduction. Priority is given to the interaction of the executive authorities with citizens and businesses in digital format. The document also includes the introduction of a ban for state bodies to prohibit the request for data contained in information systems. Written approval and sheeted initialing of documents will be abolished as well. These and other measures are expected to halve the time and stages of the legislative process.
